Company information

Our family have been in the holiday rental business in Rossnowlagh for over 50 years, so as you can imagine in this time we have not only met guests from all over the world but have seen the purposes of their visits to the area develop over this time. While the old reliable promise of spending a few sunny days lazing on the beach or splashing in the waves is as true today as always, there has also been a big shift to activity based holidays, especially over the last ten or fifteen years. This of course includes all the water based sports which Rossnowlagh has become well-known for, such as surfing, wind-surfing, stand up paddling (SUP), etc, but also more regional activities such as fishing, boating on Lough Erne, trekking, hill walking, golfing and horse riding.

Property information

A cosy little place right by the sea! Located next to a quiet and secluded creek and only a few minutes walk to the fantastic expansive Rossnowlagh Beach. It is also within walking distance to some excellent bars and restaurants such as Smuggler's Creek Inn (4 mins) and The Gaslight Inn (3 mins), and The Surfer's Bar & Sandhouse Hotel (12 mins). Perfectly suited for couples, small families and solo travellers especially those into outdoor activities and water related pursuits. It is also suitable for those who have the option to work remotely.

Neighbourhood information

Rossnowlagh is a quiet and select beach resort situated 10 miles (15 km) from the historical picturesque and cultured town of Donegal to the north, and 8 miles (12 km) from the vibrant sea-side resort town of Bundoran to the south. Rossnowlagh beach itself is a 2 mile (3 km) long crescent shaped beach with designated areas for swimmers, jet-skiers, surfers and boaters. It is a very safe beach for swimming and has a full-time lifeguard service during the summer months. It is also very popular with walkers, joggers, wind-surfers, kite-surfers, gliders etc. In addition to this, it is one of Ireland's longest holders of the Blue Flag Status (an international award for beach water quality). The local region around Rossnowlagh also offers the visitor many activities and attractions away from the beach. These include trekking, fishing, golfing, mountain climbing, horse trekking, dramatic landscapes, rugged coastlines, historical sites, fantastic traditional pubs, as well as quaint little Gaelic speaking villages.
