The family apartment has 2 bedrooms and a spacious lounge and fully equipped kitchen. It's great for families or 2 couples. There is no television but we provide games for all ages, books etc in the hope that people will interact and have good quality time together. The apartment is decorated with natural materials and colors with a little bit of South Africa and Yaron's homemade furniture.
We live on the property with our family and love meeting new people. Yaron is Israeli, and Kelly originally South African. Together we love to help our guests enjoy their stay and enjoy the beautiful Negev. We provide, on arrival, homemade bread, jams, tea and coffee. Our door is always open for chats, hiking advice, lifts into the desert etc We love the Negev desert and support the vision to see the Negev blossom....like a ROSE. ;-)
Our village is the only community in Israel that is not a moshav or a kibbutz. Its originally a university town that is built on the edge of a nature reserve. This means that in 5 mins you are in the wilderness in the most beautiful desert canyon in Israel. With walks to Avdat Springs and Ein Akev right on your doorstep. The village has all the amenities including a supermarket, gym, pool, numerous children's parks, Ben Gurion's burial place, cycling tours and bicycle hire, jeep tours etc. The village also holds famous Purim Parades, Tel Hai piano concerts and other seasonal cultural activities.
