Benoy has completed his masters in Computer Science. He has worked for the Defence Research and Development Organization, an Indian Government service, for about 7 years as a Scientist. Subsequently he worked for Honeywell International in their Research and Development section for about 20 years and took early retirement from work in 2018. He last held the position of Director of Engineering at Honeywell. All his professional life was at Bangalore, before he moved along with his family to his hometown here. Currently, Benoy has a partnership with Progresscard Educational Consultant Ltd., which is a consultant to students and provide educational services. Hobbies: Playing chess, Carrom, Table Tenis, watching movies, sports and gardening. Beena has completed graduation in Physics and also has completed B. Ed. She has worked as a school teacher in a few schools in Bangalore. She also provided on-line and off-line tuitions to students while at Bangalore in the middle of taking breaks from schools. Hobbies: Trying out various cooking, art & craft, carrom, badminton, gardening. We would be staying in the house, along with our mother, a maid and our dog – Leo.

Pullu Located about 4Km from the homestay is a place of beauty. One can see never ending paddy fields, that also hosts many birds. This place is a visual treat, both for nature as well as to satisfy the bird lover in you. There are many small eateries that serve delicious food and you may also find a Toddy shop that serves mild liquor extracted from Coconut Trees. Pullu also has the following: Boating: a leisurely float in the lake in a round boat or traditional boat Lotus Pond boating: Float in a boat amidst blooming lotus Canolly Canal Located at a distance of about 12Km from the homestay, this quaint tourist spot attractions are kayaking, leisure pedal boating, row boats and cruising on a solar powered boat. Good local cuisine is available at the location. Paddy Fields Enjoy a stroll through the paddy fields. Paddy is a main crop of the region and is grown all around. Sowing and harvest seasons would be an interesting time to see the local farmers tending to their fields. Religious Places There are many temples and churches surrounding the homestay (within 3Km). During season, there are temple and church festivals that one could partake in.
