SaffronStays Awakening is a majestic heritage home in Srinagar, built in 1938 as the residence of Sir Ram Nath Chopra, the Father of Indian Pharmacology. Set in a peaceful cul-de-sac, this grand estate retains its old English mansion charm while incorporating authentic Kashmiri craftsmanship. The home features ornamental wooden ceilings with traditional Khattamband work, handcrafted furniture, cedarwood floors, carved chester drawers, fine crewel-embroidered curtains, and locally woven Kashmiri carpets. With breathtaking views of the Jhelum River and Zabarwan ranges, this restored villa offers a unique heritage experience.
