Welcome to Daarapari :) A working farmstay located in the lazy village of Sambok in Bermiok, West Sikkim. Get your hands dirty by engaging in farm activities, take a leisurely stroll through the village, sit by the fireplace and warm your toes, watch the clouds drift by and savor the hues of the sunset as it paints the sky in a myriad of colors, or simply sit back and revel in the awe-inspiring view of the mountains. Here, time stands still, and you are free to unwind, relax and just be.
Daarapari farm is spread across 20+ acres of land, with plenty to explore and discover. Take leisurely walks through the lush cardamom forest, pluck fresh fruits from the fruit orchards, dip your toes in the cool freshwater stream that runs through the farm, or get your hands dirty in the soil and help with organic farming. For those who love DIY, there are plenty of opportunities to get creative. Whether it's making your own jam from freshly picked fruits or learning how to weave baskets from hay, there's always something new to try. You can also go on a photo walk through the farm. There are also a lot of things to see and do in the surrounding village beyond the farm. The traditional Limboo village that Daarapari is located in, is a treasure trove of culture and hospitality. Take a village walk and be greeted with warm smiles and invitations to try the local millet beer. For those who love hiking, there are plenty of trails to explore. Climb up the hill for a breathtaking view of Mount Kanchenjunga. Hike down to reach the Kalej River, where you can picnic by the lazy river or even camp overnight.
