My family and I personally occupy the second floor, making us “on site” resident hosts, hence we remain on call at all hours (godly and ungodly) Mehak and I have been residents of Pondicherry for over three decades. While the internet does provide instant information that a traveler on the go requires, we could add a tit bit or two when tiny details matter.

Depending on the apartment / room in question, length of stay & other factors, the hosts shall levy pet occupancy charges on a case by case basis.

Neighbourhood information

As far as location is concerned, Mel Ville is prime, albeit tucked in a quiet residential neighborhood in the heart of old Pondicherry. The locality is perpetually noise and traffic free and affords ample parking and playing space. Mel Ville is located adjacent to Hotel Athiti ( a prominent landmark and hotel ) in the heart of Old Pondicherry The Rock Beach ( Promenade ) the Aurobindo Ashram, J Nehru Street ( the shopping hub ) the French Quarter, and a plethora of eateries abound - all within a kilo meter's radius of Mel Ville. Auroville is around 12 kilometers to the North, while Paradise Beach is 12 kilometers down South. Distances are practically absent in small town Pondicherry.
