A woman with a deep love for the history and culture of India, she has an accomplished professional history encompassing healthcare, community and education. Bronwen is an expert practitioner in project management and lifelong Yogini. Bronwen is one with an eye for detail and is the one who will ensure your experience is seamless and memorable. Hasem is a son of the Desert and was born in Padiyari Village close to Jaisalmer. He has successfully managed hotels, camps, tours and safaris with skill and confidence for 30 years. He has realised his dream and opened this boutique desert camp. Hasem and his staff have grown up with the ever-shifting dunes of the Thar Desert and possess an intimate knowledge of the local traditions, the history, the peoples and mysteries of this region.

The Thar Desert, also known as the Rajasthan Desert and Great Indian Desert, covers an area over 2 million square kilometres within the Indian state of Rajasthan. About 75 per cent of the Thar Desert is in India and the remaining 25 per cent is in Pakistan. The Thar Desert is characterized by shifting golden sand dunes, high winds, sparse rainfall and very hot, sunny days before the monsoon period. Many local people still live in the traditional way in small villages surrounding Jaisalmer city. Queen of Thar Desert Camp is located at the base of Sam Sand Dunes, approximately 40 kms from Jaisalmer. Travellers are drawn to the magic of the arid, sandy Thar Desert, to experience safaris and local cultural entertainment and cuisine.
