Harish
A completely natural, organic farm that's being rewilded over the last 15 years. Fringed by hills, it has coffee, paddy fields, a variety of fruit and foraged foods. The Cauvery is a quick walk away.
Harish has been at the farm since the beginning, and knows the names of the seasons, rain showers, trees, snakes, birds how locals do! He's also eager to help and to feed you :D
Bhagamandala and Talacauvery aren't far. There's lovely walks and hikes to do around - a sacred grove, temples, grasslands atop peaks, rainforests - and if you must, you can drive around Coorg and absorb the slow pace of life. But mostly, coffee, books, birding and a lovely breeze or the rain in the monsoon is what folks come for.
