The Moira is a four room bed and breakfast homestay located in the heart of the city Kolkata! The area is very central and it's easy to commute to any place from here. It's a bungalow style house with lots of greenery and fresh air. The house is a combination of modern as well as colonial architecture. The room is situated on the 2nd floor, 3rd floor and 4th floor. All our rooms are spacious and have attached bathrooms. We provide hotel grade amenities like free WiFi, daily breakfast, housekeeping, electric kettle, and TV with Amazon Prime Video Content in all rooms. Perfect for an affordable luxurious stay in Kolkata. We serve hot vegetarian breakfast everyday which you would enjoy!
We love meeting people from different cultures and countries. And they have been given me that opportunity by hosting guests in the same house we stay. I am passionate about travelling. Being a big foodie, I like trying different kinds of food from different cultures. I am a big movie buff. Love following politics and sports. I run my family business of manufacturing defence arms and ammunition for the Indian Government. I live with my parents at the same property on a different floor
The neighbourhood has the best restaurants/cafe in the city to eat out which are just walking distance from our home. It's a residential area and ideal for walking around and getting a feel of the city, with a park (Minto Park)just behind the house which can be used for a stroll. - Park Street Area- It is 850 mts , takes 10 minutes walking. This is the most famous area of Kolkata. It has all good restaurants, bars, nightclubs. Bar-B-Q, Peter Cat, M Bar & Kitchen are few to name some. - All tourist attractions like Victoria Memorial, St. Paul's Cathedral, Birla Planetarium, Maidan etc are 1.5 kms from the place. - The two very big malls of kolkata The Quest Mall & Forum Mall are within 1 km of the place. These malls have lots of restaurants, bars, shops etc. - The very famous ISCKON temple is 2 minutes walking from the place. - Lots of small cafes (Artsy Cafe, Fab India Cafe) are just metres away along with eateries and lunges like SAZ ( American food and lounge) , Monkey Bar (Lounge)
