WOODEN CHALET ON THE RIVER BANKS is a true wooden chalet situated on the banks of Goa's largest River "Mandovi".
I am a retired Merchant Navy Master . I presently am restoring heritage houses belonging to me. I also love sailing and working with my boat. I love traveling and have been traveling to to Europe with my family every year and have many great friends all over Europe. Lisbon is my home base in Europe and I love Portugal. My idea of traveling is to stay with families and friends I know at the place of destination. For me it is important to live within the local community so I can experience and know the customs and way of life. I do not believe in organized tours. My properties are open to like minded people who will treat them like home.
The neighborhood is one of the oldest heritage Town in Goa. It is a family-oriented surrounding with small heritage houses in the locality. There are several small restaurants nearby. There is a truly Goan fast food outlet nearby too for non-vegetarians.
The bus stop is just 5 minutes’ walk. However, if you see a bus when you are not at the bus stop location you can put up your hand and the buses normally will stop for you. All buses end up at the Panjim Main Bus Stand from where you will get buses to all parts of Goa or Rickshaws or taxis. You will also get numerous cars and two-wheelers to hire at the Petrol Pump adjacent to the bus-stop. We, however, provide a list of recommended vehicles hire outlets to our confirmed guest. This list is based on previous guest recommendations and has no financial benefit to us.
