Reykjavik Antique Rentals is a duplex sustainable apartments in the heart of Reykjavik's cozy and lively city center, offering guests two environmentally friendly accommodations; making them more convenient for a larger group or family.

Property information

This facility is a 66 m2 apartment, fully furnished in the center of downtown Reykjavik for short-term rental. It is equipped with 1 bedroom with a king-sized bed, a large living room, an open kitchen, a toilet +shower room and a narrow corridor to the exit. The apartment is one of a duplex ground floor level building. Thus there is a similar apartment next to this one measuring 57 m2 (with similar amenities to the other one), which can be used as an extension in case of a large group/family of up to 8 members. Both apartment share a roofed large patio at the backside of the buidling. We can accommodate a larger group (more than 4 and up to 8 individuals) by prior request only! Cordially!

Neighbourhood information

The apartments are close to the sea-front, where you can enjoy ocean and mountain views, and a walking distance from many of Reykjavik city center’s main attractions. These include The National Theater, Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Center, Solfar SunVoyager, Reykjavik’s Old Harbour, and Reykjavik City Center’s old main shopping street Laugavegur. The apartments have each one a private entrance, one bedroom, a comfortable living room, a fully equipped kitchen with cooking utensiles, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The middle of Reykjavik City Center’s Laugavegur shopping street is just around corner, but the apartments are nonetheless shielded from the commotion and noise from its famous lively party scene. From Reykjavik, you can visit many stunning landmarks on organized day-trips, or by driving there on your own. These include Gullfoss waterfall, the famous Geysir geothermal area in Haukadalur, Krísuvík geothermal area, Blue Lagoon nature baths, Kerid volcanic crater, Snæfellsnes peninsula, Reynisfjara black sand beach, Solheimajokull Glacier hike, Lava Tunnel, and many more.
