Recently renovated, Agrihotel Il Palagetto lies in the Tuscan hills above Volterra and San Gimignano, enjoying panoramic views over the marvellous green countryside and offering great facilities, including free WiFi throughout. The ideal place to relax in the very heart of Tuscany, the hotel is just 20 minutes from Volterra and 30 minutes from medieval San Gimignano. Florence, Siena and Pisa can all be reached in around an hour and you can be on the Tuscan coast in just 45 minutes. If you prefer to stay closer to home and enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful surrounding countryside, there is also a nature reserve nearby, and plenty of scope for horse-riding, cycling, fishing, walking and golfing. The property organises cooking classes, as well as wine and olive oil tasting. Back at Il Palagetto you can enjoy a dip in the stunning swimming pool, with its waterfall and unforgettable views, or simply lay back on the terrace and soak up the sun. Here you will also have the chance to discover typical Tuscan cuisine, served with the best Chianti and San Gimignano wines.
