Casa Scola is situated in the medieval village of Castle, in the town of Gragnano, a few km from the most beautiful tourist resorts of Campania (Sorrento 25 km, Amalfi 28 km, 30 km Positano, Ravello and Scala 20 km, 8 km Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius 20 km, Naples 30 km, 30 km Salerno, Capri and Ischia reachable from the port of Castellammare di Stabia 4 km from the farm or from the port of Sorrento is 25 km from the farm, Paestum 77 km). The estate produces grapes and wine Gragnano D.O.C. red sparkling white wine sparkling table, grappa and Monte Auro white barricade obtained from the pomace of Gragnano DOC, extra virgin olive oil from the Sorrento Peninsula, citrus typical of the Sorrento peninsula and spirits of lemon, orange, mandarin and citrus, nuts and liqueur walnuts, hazelnuts, chestnuts, fennel liqueur, mirto, various vegetables and canned tomatoes into chunks and passed, dried beans, poultry and rabbits. The construction of the farmhouse that houses the farm presumably dates back to the fourteenth century. The particular shape of the front, facing north and overlooking the sea and Mount Vesuvius, and the thickness of its perimeter walls suggest a defensive towe.
