Company info

Peppe is still a passionate musician, but now he is first of all an organic farmer. Elena deals with foreign guests, besides being a high-school teacher. Tiberius takes care of animals and of vegetable garden. Sonia manages the rooms.

Property info

Cascina Poscallone is an ancient 14th century farm and quite likely also a former Monastery. Its most ancient part, featuring a large Madonna fresco, is now the owner's residence, while another important fresco is still visible under the porch. The farm is certified organic. You can buy their own d.o.c. wine (Syrah, Nero d'Avola, Grillo), olive oil (from our Sicilian olive trees), Carnaroli rice and pasta, plus fresh eggs from the farm, seasonal vegetables and fruits. The building named "Novecento" hosts the rooms for guests. It was totally restored in 2018. The "Novecento"' displays Art Nouveau furniture. It includes a studio apartment, also accessible to physically challenged; and two cozy double rooms each with private bathroom, including either a hydromassage shower or a jacuzzi. Every room is equipped with a flat TV screen, hair dryer, and a security door. Double beds can be turned indo twin beds. It is an ideal place to rest and relax, enjoy the large garden, typical farm noises (roosters, frogs), and the fireplace in winter.We do not have a restaurant, but we can recommend many good ones in the vicinity.

Neighborhood info

Although it's easy to experience the feeling of being "out of this world", Cascina Poscallone is only 20 km from Milan subway station Bisceglie, where you can leave your car and procede to visit the city without the hassle of parking. Cassinetta di Lugagnano is within 15 minutes walk, Morimondo Abbey is 11 km away, Malpensa Airport 24 Km.
