The farmhouse, situated in the heart of the Tuscany's hills, is the ideal place to spend beautiful moments in the quietness of the countryside.Strategically based in the heart of Tuscany, the area offers splendid itineraries though an uncontaminated countryside dotted with historical ruins, castles, villas, medieval hamlets and ancient Roman sites. Furthermore, many famous Tuscan centres of incredible artistic and historical value, such as San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, Siena, Florence and Lucca, are just a short drive away. The nearest village with shops and services (only 1 Km far).The property is only 3 km far from our new agricultural craft brewery.For guests there will be the opportunity to go to the brewery and taste our beer. In 20 minutes by car you can rent an e-bike (also guided tours !). Only 10 minutes by car there's a riding school for horseback rides. The villa has a pool surrounded by a wide olive grove,where extra virgin oil, available for tourists, is produced. There's also a barbecue area with space for eating. Around the farmhouse there are 5 hectares of countryside included a small wood and a small lake which are reachable on foot. For the children there's a children's playground. Pets are welcome. Free WI-FI connection.
I have been doing this job since 2005. Ours is a small family run business. It is a small structure where people can find tranquility. Over the years we have established a beautiful relationship with many of our guests: some of them have been coming to us for more than 10 years ... we have become friends!
We are in the heart of Tuscany and this is the best location to visit the famous cities of art: Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Siena. In just 15 minutes by car you can reach Volterra, a city rich in history, museums and monuments. Not least is San Gimignano (can be reached in 20 minutes by car): the most famous medieval city in the world, called the Manhattan of the Middle Ages for its famous towers. Other cities to visit in about 30/40 minutes by car: Certaldo, Monteriggioni, Vinci. Not to be missed in Volterra: .The Roman theater; .The Etruscan Guarnacci museum; .the Pinacoteca; .the Piazza dei Priori; .the Etruscan tombs
