Natascia and I opened this farm in 2008 driven by a passion for life in the countryside, nature, horses and animals in general. We have created this place thinking of people like us who want to share this interest with us. It is not a place for everyone: it is for people who love outdoor life, walking, horseback riding, nature and home cooking ... so much genuineness and by choice the minimum of technology ... here we come to detach and to live in contact with nature!

Property information

Ours is a small farmhouse with rooms, restaurant and horse breeding in the heart of the natural Reserve of the Pliocenic Spur, on the hills looking towards Bologna but at the same time not far from Tuscany: we are located exactly on Via degli Dei, the famous Bologna-Florence , now traveled annually by thousands of Italian and foreign wanderers, representing a particularly convenient first stopover from Bologna, with rooms and restaurants in the same structure, right at the foot of Monte Adone (50 metres before). We also give ospitality to tents and riders in our very comfortable stable and paddocks. We are also an ideal destination for those seeking relaxation, nature walks on foot or horseback, zero technology, simple but tasty home cooking, a holiday with their four-legged friends but also for those who want to visit daily the main art cities of Emilia and Tuscany.

Neighbourhood information

We are located in the heart of the Pliocenico Contrafforte Nature Reserve, which with its more than 100 km of well-marked paths makes our farm the perfect starting point for excursions on foot, by mountain bike or horse. We are also exactly on the Via degli Dei, the ancient route that still connects Bologna to Fiesole. For those who want to visit the surroundings by car, you can reach Bologna, Florence, the Adriatic Riviera, Borgo La Scola, the Historical Park of Monte Sole ... just to give some examples. We will be happy to give you ideas on how to organize your days!
