Company information

Cristina has been in the hospitality business all of her life. She originates from San Francisco but has been living in Siena since 1994. In San Francisco, her family had restaurants and panini shops but one day she took a 1-year sabbatical to learn the Italian language and never went back. Here in the Siena area she has been working in tourism, first as an assistant for Tours by Roberto and then when her children were older she started working in agriturisms. Knowing how much she enjoyed meeting new people from all over the world, it just made sense to open her own place. She hosts cooking classes, organizes tours, wine tastings and more. Anything that you may need is just a request away.

Property information

Aiolina is a traditional Tuscan property that for hundreds of years was used as the housing for the employees of Aiola winery. It was totally converted to 6 apartments, the main house and a common area in the early '80s. In January of 2019, Aiolina was sold to a Tuscan-American family. A full restaurant kitchen was added for events and family style dinners. We have a fantastic 16th-century pizza oven as well. We are surrounded by vineyards and forest, everywhere you look is green. We have also added goats to our family, goat therapy at its best. You can cuddle with them or take them for a walk. We also offer cooking classes based on traditional Tuscan cuisine (the peasant kitchen).

Neighbourhood information

We are located 15 minutes from Siena, Castellina in Chianti and Radda in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico zone. We are on the bike trail of the Eroica as well as being surrounded by fantastic wineries.
