An oasis of elegance and inspiration: your perfect abode
The house was designed by renowned architects, featuring a unique design and Italian Design furnishings. As soon as you enter the residence, you'll walk down a long avenue paved with Sicilian terracotta, adorned with jars and local flora. On the right stands the ancient farmhouse, while on your left, a wall of lava stone bears witness to ancient lava flows from Mount Etna.
The entrance to the house is within the internal area of the structure, offering a serene and tranquil ambiance. You'll immediately encounter a courtyard all to yourself, with lava stone flooring, surrounded by grass, and featuring an imposing throne crafted by local artisans in Sicilian terracotta.
The house is a blend of typical Sicilian architecture and 1930s industrial design, in perfect harmony with the surroundings. Artwork adorns the roof, paintings, and furniture from Cassina, which can be found in contemporary art museums worldwide. Not to mention the sculptural fireplace, crafted by French artisans from Focus and numbered among a few exemplars worldwide.
The dining table, in original 1930s Parisian style, is another example of what you'll find in this boutique house. As an enthusiast of Art and Architecture, the house reflects the choices I've made during my travels and experiences around the world.
If your vacation is all about emotions, this house is the perfect place to create unforgettable moments.
Welcome, I'm Davide,
I have always lived in Sicily, near Catania, just a stone's throw from the sea and the mountains.
Sociable and empathetic, I know the area very well and can suggest places to visit, where to dine, and the characteristics and attractions of the area.
I have a moderate level of English, am empathetic, cheerful, and know Sicily very well as I was born and have always lived here.
I'm very accessible, living next door in the main house. For any special requests, just let me know in advance, and I'll do my best to accommodate them.
Located on the slopes of Etna, the house is located in a particularly quiet spot, although close to the city square, from which it is possible to access the main conveniences and services less than 500 meters away.
Ragalna is a well-connected town in a strategic location. It's a very peaceful village with few inhabitants but with all the necessary services. Just a few meters from the house, there's a restaurant-pizzeria, and within less than 500 meters, you'll find a pharmacy, bar, post office, tobacco shop, butcher, supermarket, and petrol station.
