Podere Montale is passionately involved in wine and extravirgin oil production. The farm is surrounded by the gentle hills of Tuscany with 20 hectares of luscious vineyards and more than 2000 thousand-year-old olive trees. The estate is located on the slopes of Monte Amiata and it extends for over 200 hectares in the motherland of wine and olive oil. Our products are the result of competent and accurate farming, respecting biodiversity and natural resources. The apartments are located at the top of our property, 1 km far from the farm; they are typical Tuscan style apartments with beautiful views on hills and countryside.
We are a dinamic and young wine farm that offers a hospitality service too. Staff is pleased to organize special tastings of our wines and typical extra virgin olive oil, as well as accompany you in winecellar and property visits.
The property is located in a strategic position, halfway between Mount Amiata and its beautiful medieval villages and the famous Val d'Orcia. You can reach Montalcino and the Bagno Vignoni thermal resort in 30 minutes by car. Nearby you will find numerous restaurants serving traditional cuisine and two starred restaurants, pizzerias and eateries and, for art lovers, the beautiful contemporary art park Il Giardino di Daniel Spoerri.
