Armonia Market and Sea is a luxurious apartment in the historic center that offers a journey to the past. Here, the scents and flavors of yesteryear still find their perfect expression today. The house, with a splendid sea view to the east, overlooks the most authentic place on the island, “Il Mercato di Ortigia”. This environment, rich in history, is characterized by the classic “banniate”, so called in Sicilian dialect, as well as harmonious cries of the sellers to draw attention to their local delicacies: fresh fish, vegetables, fruit, spices, etc.. The apartment offers 2 bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom and can comfortably accommodate 4 people.

Few steps from Piazza Duomo, 200 meters away from Ortigia's popular street market and just 200 meters away from the touristic port, with a magic atmosphere, hosting yacht and sailing boat from all over the world, where is great to enjoy the sunset or walks by the water between bars, restaurants and ice-cream parlors. Ortigia, Unesco heritage was easily transformed into a natural fortress with harbors and was big enough that it could hold a significant population in ancient times. Therefore, the history of Ortigia is synonymous with the early history of Syracuse. Walking around the Ortigia, allows to face many buildings characterized by mixed architectural styles, the Sicilian Baroque and the Hebrew Israelite styles, with elements that go back to the Medieval and Renaissance periods. These architectural styles are also demonstrated throughout the narrow alleyways and winding streets that make up the neighborhood. In the near vicinity you can savor some of the tastiest foods the island has to offer.
