In recent years, the historic district has undergone a transformation that has given rise to important private and public interventions for renovation and redevelopment of buildings and squares. Different ethnic groups coexist, well amalgamated with the Sanremaschi. It is a lively neighborhood teeming with life. One of the main streets of the medieval village, called "La Pigna", is Via Palma. It starts from the Church of San Giuseppe, placed a few meters from our home, and ends near Via Matteotti, the luxury shopping street, where the Ariston theater and the Casino are placed. A short distance away is also the cycle path (from Ospedaletti to San Lorenzo al Mare), the pride of the city, where it is possible to ride while breathing the sea air or take a nice walk of over 24 km, enjoying the view of wonderful landscapes and suggestive views.
