The apartment is situated at the very heart of Riomaggiore: a quiet, safe and silent environment. The place offers a small outdoor patio. Independent apartment with 2/4 beds (1 double bed, 2 single) in 2 adjoining rooms. Private bathroom. Very close to the train station and the parking lot. Steps away from bars, restaurants and places of interest. Brand-new furnishings that guarantee maximum comfort for all activities like sleeping, reading, working on a PC or just relaxing. Our apartment allows you to stay at the very heart of the old town, by living an “ancient time” experience: no traffic and no pollution. You can enjoy wandering through a real maze of “carrugi” (typical narrow alleys of Liguria region) and walk along panoramic footpaths sourranded by nature, sun, wind and the smell of basil, lemons and the sea. We live upstairs and we are always available for everything you may need during your stay. Unoftunately, we cannot accept animals: an extreemely territorial domestic cat lives in the area.
I am an engineer and my wife is a journalist. We like literature, art, technology but also nature, healthy cooking and natural products and, of course, good company, getting to know people and traveling.
The apartament is very easy to get to, considering that Riomaggiore has been built down to the sea and so it is characterized by steep stairs and hills. We strongly recommend to reach Riomaggiore by train. Cars are banned from entering town center. There is paid parking but it is often full during the summer season. Free parking places are distant from the center and far up the hill. Lovely places like Genova, Pisa, Florence, La Versilia and all the Tuscany region can be easily reached by train in a couple of hours or less.
