A unique opportunity to spend your holidays in Montemarcello, in a villa overlooking the sea within easy reach of Cinque Terre and Tuscany. The "Al Cavalluccio Marino" Villa is situated on a rugged hillside overlooking the Gulf of the Poets in Liguria, 5 minutes by car from the nearby Roman village of Montemarcello. It nestles in the midst of a woodland of Aleppo pines, oaks and juniper in the heart of the regional park of Montemarcello. In the summer months the only sounds to be heard are the waves on the shoreline down below and a symphony of cicalas in the tree tops surrounding the villa. The unusual circular design of this Mediterranean villa, in its private park of 4,000 metres, harmonises beautifully with its surroundings. It has a view of 180 degrees and on clear days you can see the Tuscan islands of Gorgona, Montecristo, Capraia and even Elba and Corsica.

Our family-run B&B is situated in a 1970s villa nestled in the stunning nature of the Montemarcello-Magra-Vara Park, offering breathtaking views of the sea. While it may not provide all the amenities of a modern hotel, it offers a cozy and authentic atmosphere that will make you feel right at home. Every morning, my mother Emelita lovingly prepares a homemade breakfast that is fresh, healthy, and sustainable—a delightful alternative to the typical buffet breakfast. We hope this special touch makes your stay truly memorable. We also have some adorable pets: our affectionate dog Bongo, our friendly cat Pinolo, and a few free-roaming chickens that add a lively and pleasant touch to the environment. There is immediate access to footpaths through the woods which lead to neighbouring villages and the sea. There are 3 indipendents bedrooms, all with their own bathroom. The living and dining area affords splendid views of the sea and surrounding woodland. The Villa is within easy reach by car, bus, train or boat to Lerici, San Terenzo, Tellaro, Portovenere, La Spezia, Le Cinque Terre, Lunigiana, Garfagnana and Versilia.
