The B&B Mermaid n16/a is nestled among the vineyards of one of the most important wine DOCG in the area, the Barbaresco, and offers the possibility of staying in one of the most renowned and peaceful areas in the famous Langhe of Alba. The structure, finely restored with quality materials such as original tiles from the early 20th century, period furnishings of the same date, very fine wallpapers, is strongly influenced by the nearby French Provence style and equipped with underfloor heating, to offer the maximum comfort and allow you to stay in an elegant and at the same time relaxing atmosphere. Attention to detail, such as ceramic switches, Carrara marble sinks, the use of copper for various details, fine fabrics, independent entrance, private antique furniture outside for each individual room on terrace, with a breathtaking view of the Alps, is the result of a maniacal research with the sole purpose of giving our guests an environment capable of transmitting harmony from the first moment of your stay.
During the international Alba truffle fair, from October to December, it will be possible to book for a minimum of two nights. I'am Davide, the host of this structure and you will find me to welcome you and take care of you, ready to reveal secrets of these areas that you will hardly find in any tourist guide, because this is one of the things that I love most about this job, to tell stories and listen to your stories, and your suggestions for improvement.
The B&B Mermaid n 16/a, is located near a long series of pearls that are countries like Neive, Barbaresco, Alba, Serralunga, Monforte, Barolo and of course Treiso, with their renowned restaurants and cellars on which I will be happy to advise you. From this structure it is also possible to reach the Ligurian Sea in just over an hour by car, through one of the most beautiful panoramic roads that I will be glad to show you, discovering uncontaminated places for an unforgettable day trip.
