Property information

Set in the centre of Caltagirone, B&B Regina Carolina offers functional rooms with tiled floors, wooden furniture, and wrought-iron beds. You can relax in a shared living room with armchairs and TV. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. In each room there is a coffee and tea maker. Cappuccino or coffee and a croissant are served for breakfast at the Bar Forte, located near the building (for a fee). Each room at the Regina Carolina come with a private bathroom with toiletries. Rooms offer views of Caltagirone's main historic square, or of the Noto Valley. We are also 30 km from the sea, and we are a perfect destination for excursions to the rest of Sicily.

Neighbourhood information

The area is the most central of Caltagirone, a few steps away you can visit the municipal Villa of the city, a UNESCO heritage site, with the ceramic museum inside, a few meters away you can see the Tondo Vecchio, a monument rich in history... to then arrive at the staircase of Santa Maria del Monte, full of majolica tiles typical of the city, which on holidays is illuminated creating an incredible atmosphere, and in May it is decorated with flowers on the occasion of the Madonna. In the street there are many shops where you can buy Caltagirone ceramics and gadgets, and nearby there is a pharmacy, supermarket, bars, restaurants and a tourist information point.
