Our adventure in Sicily began as simple tourists: we approached this wild and hospitable land on tiptoe, learning about it stay after stay, with care and respect. Baglio Cella – Case e Appartamenti per Vacanze – Codice CIR: 19088006B401426 – We were looking for a vacation home when we laid our eyes on Baglio Cella: it was love at first sight. Once the renovation work began in 2011, the desire to restore the Baglio to look as responsive as possible to its original appearance – combining it with the comforts of modern living – led us to want to share this magnificent experience with others. We, for one, have been hosts: we know how to make you feel at home, helping you discover what can make your vacation truly unique.

Baglio Cella is a family-run vacation home, ideal for a stay experience in harmonious contact with the nature, history and art of the Sicilian hinterland. – Case e Appartamenti per Vacanze – Codice CIR: 19088006B401426 – You will rediscover the pleasure of rustic living, in synergy with all the conveniences of modern living. The apartments were obtained from the renovation of an old baglio padronale, carried out in line with the directives of local authorities and aimed at restoring its original appearance – evidence of a past linked to the splendor of the great landowners, between the 16th and 18th centuries.

Southeastern Sicily welcomes the tourist seeking peace and tranquility as well as the more dynamic tourist. In fact, we find ourselves within an area with a very rich potential (landscape, food and wine, history, art): a vacation here can easily satisfy different needs, without any excluding the others. Baglio Cella occupies a strategically barycentric position, excellent for reaching all major points of interest in less than an hour: cities such as Syracuse, Ragusa, Modica, and Noto; small seaside towns such as Sampieri, Marzamemi, and Pozzallo (from whose port it is also possible to embark for Malta); small towns such as Scicli, made famous by Commissioner Montalbano; and places well known for raw materials, such as Pachino and Avola. We will be ready to advise you to the best of our ability, providing you with all relevant directions and activating ourselves for means of transportation and useful contacts.
