We, Peter and Karin, from the Netherlands, came to live in Poggio San Vittorino in Abruzzo on April 1, 2025. We bought this beautiful house with an even more beautiful view of the Gran Sasso and its rolling hills. We hope that you can enjoy the view and the tranquility just as much as we do. We will try to make you feel at home and make your stay as pleasant as possible. Un po' di serenità dalla frenesia della vita.

Property information

Casa Amrita is a renewed colonial house on one and a half hectares of land in the beautiful flowing hills of northern Abruzzo. The property has a stunning panorama with in the background the Grand Sasso mountain peaks. The garden hosts a variety of abundant fruit trees. The house has 2 comfortable guest rooms 5 guests. The two rooms connect directly to a sunny balcony with breathtaking views. There is a cozy communal living room with wood stove and there is internet access throughout the house. The garden contains also a place to use your breakfast, or drink a wine in the evening a swimming pool with a view and has places for both sun and shade seekers.

Neighbourhood information

Casa Amrita borders the Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park. You can visit this beautiful park from here. There are many hiking and mountain biking opportunities. If you are more into culture, Civitella del Tronto, Castel del Monte or Ascoli Piceno are one of the many options. The beach, Roseto is half an hour's drive away. A supermarket and a bar can be found a 5-minute drive from Casa Amrita. Teramo is a 15-minute drive away where there are many shops and restaurants.
