The structure, 60s, is a magical place where it is possible to regenerate. For this reason we decided to renovate the villa without changing its initial balance but transforming it into an accommodation solution for groups of friends and / or families who wish to spend some pleasant days relaxing on the slopes of Mount Etna, in a valley between Mount Ilice, Monterosso and Monte Gorna in Zafferana Etnea. Places where the simple nature and the silence of the countryside written by Giovanni Verga in his romance. We call it a "Luxury" solution because the 4 independent rooms, the 5 bathrooms, the 3000 square meters of garden and the salt water pool make it ideal for those who still can't do less comfort even in the middle of the countryside. Our property is accessible to wheelchairs. We accept pets just on request.
“A Home away from home” We introduce ourselves! We are Carmelo and Vera, two brothers who have decided to transform a place linked to memories of pleasant childhood, in a Luxury Villa. The name "Casa di Sara" derives from the original owner of the property, our dear Grandma Sara, a second mother to us. From his stories, we learned that our grandfather gave it to him so he could breathe "good air". Here we spent all the happiest moments of our youth: the grape harvests where grapes were harvested with relatives and friends and ended up with parties, the "scampagnate" (Sicilian tipical parties organized in the countryside areas), preparation of pizzas in a wood-fired oven, barbecues, birthdays; each event was a reason for meeting at the "Casa di Sara". At "Casa di Sara" we also organize "Cooking Lessons" with Sicilian specialized Chefs. Carmelo and Vera look forward to welcome you!
Casa di Sara is easy accessible by the highway A18 Catania - Messina. Driving is the best solution to reach us. We are 20km far away from the airport of Catania. The nearest village Zafferana Etnea is just 5 minutes driving The mount Etna is just 20 minutes driving. Acireale and Catania are just 30 minutes driving. Taormina is just 40 minutes driving. Syracuse is just 50 minutes driving.
