Welcome to Casa Lizluba, your ideal retreat in the heart of Montefegatesi in the region of Garfagnana. Casa Lizluba offers easy driving access to Lucca, Pisa, Florence & Bologna with convenient access to the A1 Motorway & train connections to Milan, Venice, and Rome. From Casa Lizluba you can enjoy breathtaking views of the stunning Tuscan-Emilian Apennines mountains, with its rolling hills and dense forests, as well as the iconic statue of Dante, Italy’s literary genius. Wifi is available.
Casa Lizluba is a 2 minute walk from the top car park, down towards the Piazza on the right hand side. Sorry, we can't accept check-in on a Saturday or Sunday, but free to book across those days. On the ground floor with a separate entrance, is the cellar (cantina). A place where cycles or hiking equipment can be stored. In Montefegatesi the residents are friendly and always ready to welcome visitors with open arms. There is a cafe conveniently located in the piazza along with a great little Grocery shop that sells everything. There is also store that sells household goods & clothing, a Post office and Doctors surgery that open on selected days.
There are steps leading up to the front door of the house. The whole house is for guest use only. Inside the house on the first floor there is a fully equipped kitchen which leads into a lounge. There is a bathroom with a shower, bath and toilet on the first floor. On the second floor are two comfortably furnished bedrooms and a toilet. There are a various outside areas with tables and chairs, in front of the house and one on the balcony outside the first bedroom. Safety features at this property include fire extinguishers and a first aid kit.
