Company information

Roy and Shirley fell in love with Italy in 2003, Casa Marchi after much paperwork and a two year renovation project was finally opened. Roy is a classically trained chef and Shirley is a massage and Bowen Therapist

Property information

An amazing property, a three story stone Medieval house (circa 1500) in a mountain village. On the borders of a National Park in Tuscany . A traditional Tuscan house with chestnut beams and terracotta ceilings. All the guests rooms are on the second floor. All rooms have en-suite shower rooms with hand basin and toilet. A large tree lined terrace. Close to popular tourist areas without being part of a crowd. Renovated to a high standard, comfortable and really good food available on request.

We are situated within easy reach of Florence, Pisa, Lucca, close to Viareggio and the Cinque Terra. Garfagnana an area of outstanding natural beauty. Traditional spa towns, food, wine, and olive oil routes close by. Ski resorts, hiking trails, white river rafting, adventure trails. horse riding as well as paintballing and quad biking within easy access. Great shopping in Lucca, Florence, and design outlets within easy reach - leather goods of a high standard available particularly in Lucca and Florence
