Restored with all conforts, the villa is a typical Tuscan organic farmhouse surrounded by property's olive groves on top of a hill overlooking the Chianti, half way between Florence and Siena. Private garden and infinity pool for your relax.
The owners are discreetly present on the ground floor where they live .They run the farm but they are available for any need of the guests giving advice on the neighborhood and on things to see . Upon request Matteo and Emma will prepare dinners with local products and wine and oil tastings.
The villa is settled in an archaeological area in the center of Tuscany, its foundations are based on those of the ancient city of Semifonte which once dominated the valley. Nearby you can find incredible historical sites, such as churches and medieval springs . Cities such as Florence , Siena and San Gimignano can be reached in about half an hour . In few minutes by car you can be to neighboring towns where there are shops and supermarkets, medical offices and centers equipped for sports and horse riding. At short distance from the villa there are also great restaurants that owners can suggest . In the nearby town of Certaldo,20 minutes away by car, there is the train station that takes about an hour to the central station of Florence . On request the owners can take guests to and from the station.
