A few minutes from the center of Nizza Monferrato, traveling along Strada Piazzaro you will find yourself embraced by the sweet slopes of colorful and quiet hills that never fail impress, whichever the season. A couple bends more and there you are, Cascina dei Giacinti Farmstay greets you on the left side of the road, at number 21: beyond the gate is our little heaven, welcome! The main Cascina building dates back to the first half of the 19th Century and has been completely renovated, keeping the original layout intact. The old barn has become a wonderful sitting room with a wooden beam roof, while the ground floor warehouse was turned into a functional space now used for wine making and tasting of our products. We strive to make this place more and more beautiful by the day: the best way for you to find out is by taking a stroll at dusk, letting the pink glow of the clouds and the light breeze lull you.

The Cascina dei Giacinti Farmstay mixes tradition and innovation, heart and reason: it is the result of a perfect balance between dream and matter-of-factness, the same which has always characterized us, as a couple and as a family. We are Giacinto and Cesarina; after a travelling working life between Milan, Turin, Paris and London, we searched for a place where we could get back in contact with the earth, the fresh air and with ourselves. A glance was enough for us to fall in love with the Cascina: in an old and battered building and the surrounding empty fields we pictured what is now there and worked towards it day by day, never losing our enthusiasm. The peace and magic of every sunset behind the hill makes us increasingly certain that we made the right choice.

Nizza Monferrato is at the center of a triangle between the towns of Asti, Alba and Acqui Terme, which draw a peculiar area for its history, culture and territory, now famous around the world. It's the same territory in June 2014 UNESCO has recognized as World Heritage with the following justification: "The vineyards of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato are an outstanding example of man's interaction with his natural environment." Beyond the beauty of the vineyards that embroider the hills, the evidence of the past, festivals and pageants echo the cultural roots of Nicese society and mark the moments of the city's active life. There are many opportunities offered to guests curious to learn more about and interact with the tastes and habits of the locals. On top of food and wine tasting, guests can enjoy the visit of historical monuments, wineries and craft structures built around the vine, the wine and love for nature. But the territory is nature and the best way to know is to dive in it through walks or bicycle rides along the country roads.
