The Portinale 8 is an ancient and typical Piedmontese farmhouse from the late 1800s located in the municipality of Alba, the capital of just 15 minutes walk from the historic center of the city. The property has been completely renovated with very high quality finishes, Internally our guests will have 3 independent units each with separate access, 2 of which also have a kitchen. - the first unit with access from the ground floor consists of a large fully equipped kitchen with air conditioning, living room with relaxation area and relaxing leather sofas, air conditioning. In the living area there is a 160cm × 190cm sofa bed that can comfortably accommodate 1 or 2 guests, the living room and kitchen have direct access to the courtyard and garden. From the living room you access the sleeping area (via internal stairs) where we find: - a first splendid bedroom with double bed (160x190), walk-in closet, a study corner, smart TV, air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom with large shower, toilet and bidet. -a second bedroom with kingsize bed (180cmx200cm), walk-in closet, access to a panoramic balcony, desk, study corner equipped with printer, smart TV, air conditioning, bathroom with large shower, toilet and bidet. On the first floor of the house, with access via external stairs and independent entrance we find the 2 magnificent bedrooms: suite "Marisa" and room "Franco". -Suite "Marisa" is a room with a panoramic view consisting of a double bed, smart TV, air conditioning, ensuite bathroom with maxi shower, toilet and bidet; minibar, microwave, kettle, coffee machine - room "Franco" is a large study with a fully equipped kitchenette, dining table, double bed, smart TV, air conditioning, ensuite bathroom with maxi shower, toilet and bidet access to the panoramic balcony. Extremely garden with English lawn and permanent sculptures, hanging terrace jacuzzi (8 people max heated in the autumn / spring period).
I am the owner of this splendid farmhouse that belonged to my great-great-grandparents, and after a complete renovation it presents itself as you see it. A luxury villa complete with every comfort. By profession I am a journalist and design enthusiast as you will see during your stay at Cascina Portinale 8.
The Madonna di Como hamlet is just a 10-minute drive from the center of Alba. You'll be surrounded by vineyards and enjoy complete privacy. You'll have the Langhe all around you, in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you're looking for relaxation and serenity, enhanced by design, Cascina Portinale 8 is definitely the right choice.
