This newly remodeled apartment is located 10 minutes from the centre of Asti, the city renowned for events like the Palio d'Asti and the Douja D'or. Make your visit to Piemonte special by staying in this 200 year old farmhouse in a completely independent apartment on a quiet hill, nestled in a hazelnut plantation and surrounded by greenery. The property is fully gated and the apartment is ideal for couples or a family of four. The kitchen is fully equipped to inspire gourmet cooking and nearby villages offer outdoor markets almost everyday for you to pick up local seasonal produce.
Singaporean living in Italy since 2003, I have personally redecorated the apartment adding elegant, one-of-a-kind pieces so that your stay here will be truly memorable.
As guests of the Cascina Volpona, you will have access to some of Italy's most beautiful hillsides bursting with vineyards and hazelnut orchards. Indeed, the Monferrato, Roero and Langhe hills are UNESCO Heritage sites that welcome visitors and offer varied activities comprising wine tasting, bicycle tours, excursions by foot or horseback in Nature Reserves, and visits to castles dating back to the 9th century. The beautiful city of Turin, the fourth largest city in Italy, is a 30 minute drive by motorway. It is known as the 'Paris of Italy' because of its regal architecture, royal residences and internationally acclaimed museums.
