This medieval castle, once important for defending the area, now offers peaceful, relaxing accommodation in a stunning setting. On site you will find a large open-air swimming pool with lovely views, a children’s playground and a barbecue area. Rooms inside 17th-century Castel Pietraio WineResort are furnished and decorated in keeping with their history, with exposed wooden beams and terracotta tiles as well as all modern comforts. In a tranquil but easily-accessible area, from Castel Pietraio WineResort you can be at San Gimignano in half an hour, as well as numerous other pretty historic towns.
