Monte Isola is a little undiscovered gem that can be easily reached from all main airports such as Milan - Bergamo, Milan LInate - Malpensa and Verona. The island offers real traditional Italian lifestyle with fishermen leaving early in the morning and the life going by with a "dolce far niente". There are many activities to do on the island, such as hiking, trekking, biking, swimming, eating and drinking. And don't forget there are no cars on the island. The area of Franciacorta, just a stone throw away, offers one of Italy's best wine productions, and a couple of Unesco heritage sites a just a short drive away. Here you'll end your holiday wondering why you didn't stay longer.
