This traditional Piedmontese cottage, from the 18th Century, is a perfect unique getaway where to find real peace in nature, among the beautiful woods and hazelnuts fields of Alta Langa. At 550mt. of altitude and with a stunning panorama, this countryside house is made entirely of stones and maintains the original structure typical of the area. The house is far away from the village not but on the main road which connects (through a paved road with curves) to Lequio Berria (4km) or Bosia (6km).
My name is Giorgia and since 2020 I lived with my partner in this beautiful isolated and peaceful place among the Alta Langa hills. We discovered this stone-house in 2019 and immediately fell in love with it. Seeing it in this state of abandon, badly increased our desire to bring it back to life and live a new chapter, different from the city life we had always experienced. So we left Berlin (after 10 years) to move to this very peaceful surrounding in Alta Langa, being completely immerse in nature, with almost no cars, no noises, just birds, wild animals and mostly trekking and cycling enthusiasts. This was quite a big step I have to admit, but we just love it and we'd be happy to share it with you!
The house is immersed in nature (but on the main road though) without any neighbours :D Few cars pass by during the day (1 or 2). More common is to see cyclists and a few people having a walk. Birds, dormice, wind or crickets are the most frequent noises you are going to hear. Cats will keep you company on the outside garden and terrace.
