The guest house consists of three rooms with private bathroom, an internal room and a flowered terrace where you can enjoy a rich continental breakfast during the summer (from June to September). The retro style characterizes every environment, which we have studied down to the smallest detail to make it welcoming, functional and pleasant to see and live in. The spaces intended for guests are separated from those used by the hosts, thus guaranteeing maximum privacy. However, the guesthouse is adjacent to the house, allowing us to create moments of conviviality and to dedicate ourselves with the utmost care to your stay
“Contus” in Campidanese Sardinian dialect means “Stories”. We chose this name with the hope that our and your stories will lodge in our home, of travelers and different cultures that meet, of distant and local places, of objects and images that have crossed time and space. Be welcome in the home of Vitto and Viola, two travelers who love to discover and learn, exchange stories and dream, and have chosen to do so in their daily lives too.
The Contus is located in a strategic position in the central Via Dante, near the Basilica of San Saturnino, the oldest church in Cagliari. We are located a stone's throw from the historic district of Villanova, in the court area, an extremely quiet area well equipped with transport and services. The historic center is easily reachable on foot: in a ten minute walk you can choose to arrive in Piazza Constitution, the hub of three of the city's historic districts (Villanova, Marina and Castello), or at the first useful stop to take you to the beautiful Poetto beach . If, however, you prefer to use public transport, all you have to do is choose your destination and use the metro or the various bus lines located near the structure to easily reach any point of the city.
