The Datini Apartment is a holiday accommodation on the first floor (European) of a historic building in Prato's old town, conveniently located near Palazzo Datini, the home of the "Merchant of Prato", and just a 5-7 minute walk from Porta al Serraglio train station. TWIN BEDS AND KING-SIZE BEDS: The apartment has 2 double bedrooms with twin beds, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, Smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine and a terrace. It's perfect for families of 3-4 or colleagues travelling together. GARAGE: In addition, we have a garage 300 metres away, measuring 5 x 3 metres with a height of 2.20 metres. It's perfect for families of 3-4, couples or two friends who can enjoy the whole apartment together. Prato Porta al Serraglio train station is just 700 metres away, an easy 5-7 minute walk, making it ideal for trips to Florence, Pistoia, Pisa, Lucca, Viareggio or even Bologna.

The Datini Apartment is located in the heart of Prato’s medieval city centre, just a stone’s throw from Palazzo Datini, the former home of Francesco Datini, famously known as "the Merchant of Prato." The area is bustling with coffee bars, restaurants, a supermarket, and ice cream shops where you can sample traditional Tuscan cuisine, especially local specialities from Prato—or you might prefer to cook in the apartment’s well-equipped kitchen! Only 150 metres away is the Palazzo Pretorio Museum, which hosts fascinating exhibitions and houses an impressive collection of Renaissance paintings, including works by Filippo Lippi, Paolo Uccello, Andrea della Robbia, and Filippino Lippi. The apartment is also surrounded by a variety of shops, a bank with a cash machine, restaurants, and bars.
