Welcome to Desideri di Puglia, a historic home in the heart of Barletta, just a few steps from the Castle, the Curci Theatre and the sea. The apartment is on the ground floor of one of the quietest streets in the old town. It features two independent bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for couples, friends, or travellers seeking privacy and freedom. What makes your stay unique? An ancient stone well, a charming corner that tells the story of the house and creates an intimate atmosphere. All spaces have been carefully renovated, keeping the original style but adding modern comforts: air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, and independent access.
We are Ruggiero, Francesca and Rossella, three young Apulians aged between 25 and 28. Desideri di Puglia was born from our shared dream: to help people discover the beauty of our land in an authentic, simple and well-curated way. We are not hoteliers: we are locals who love our city and want to share the best of it. We live just a short walk from the apartment and are always available for anything you may need: tips on what to see, where to eat, or simply for a nice chat. We love details and take care of every stay as if it were the first.
We are located in the heart of Barletta’s old town, in the perfect spot to explore the city on foot. The street is quiet and authentic, and just a few steps from the main attractions: Castello Svevo – 150 m Curci Theatre – 200 m De Nittis Art Gallery – 250 m Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre – 300 m Colossus of Heraclius – 320 m Corso Vittorio Emanuele (shops, bars, nightlife) – 200 m Beach and Pietro Mennea Promenade – 600 m Train station – 700 m Nearby you’ll find typical restaurants, historic bakeries, local markets and everything you need for an authentic Apulian experience.
