Dimora Bianca Aurora is mainly on one floor, has a total covered area of about 350 square meters, including the ground floor, first floor (laundry area) and cellar dug into the tuff. The Dimora is accessed through a suggestive wrought iron gate that opens the entrance to a courtyard, illuminated at dusk and decorated with pomegranate plants and prickly pears that create the typical atmosphere of Salento rural houses, around which the Dimora develops. The main entrance is located below a veranda, covered by a barrel vault. Access to the residence opens onto two living rooms covered by three majestic communicating star vaults, which include the living area with a fireplace in Lecce stone in typical Salento style, dining area and kitchen. Two large sliding glass doors allow the view and access in complete privacy to the internal courtyard of about 150 square meters,iù where an infinity pool is visible from the inside. The residence has a suite with a square vault frescoed by a pastel painting of the early 900s by a local author (Giuseppe Casciaro Ortelle, 9 March 1861 - Naples, 25 October 1941) direct access to the outdoor courtyard, oversize bed, fireplace in Lecce stone and an adjacent living room with square vault, possibility of accommodating two additional guests and access to the bathroom with chromotherapy and freestanding sink. The right side of the Mansion has two further suites separated by a reading area. The second suite with direct access to the swimming pool covered by a majestic star vault has an oversize bed with whirlpool tub in the room and bathroom with shower, chromotherapy, washbasin top in olive burl and white Vietri handcrafted majolica with star and cross texture. The third suite with direct access to the external courtyard is covered by an exposed carparo barrel vault, oversize bed and en-suite bathroom in white micro cement and wisteria-colored Vietri majolica, shower and chromotherapy.
It is a historic building dating back to the early '900, located adjacent to the main square of the historic center of Ortelle, recently renovated with high quality materials and respectful of the Salento style. It belonged to a well-known noble family of the town and was a bishopric. Ortelle is a small town in the lower Salento and is part of the Union of Municipalities of the East Coast together with the municipalities of Castro Marina, Santa Cesarea Terme and Minervino di Lecce. Ortelle and the hamlet of Vignacastrisi, have a territory that extends around the ancient Messapian city of Vaste and the Adriatic coast of Salento. The architecture that characterizes Ortelle is typical of the rural villages of Salento, located around the Mother Church, and is served by a road network that represents the natural continuation of ancient pre-existing rural roads
