I studied Health Science before I decided to focus on a career in nursing. I have been a specialized nurse for many years since. I love to cook and bake and enjoy eating together with friends, family and guests. I like to meet, get to know and take care of people. Apart from that, I enjoy taking long walks with our dogs Gina and Maia and practice yoga. I speak Dutch, English, German and Italian.

Dimora di Dante is a renovated Sicilian farmstead, located on a large piece of land in between the olive trees and vinyards of Chiaramonte Gulfi, in southeastern Sicily. Just a 10-minute drive away, you will find the village of Chiaramonte Gulfi, a pearl of Ibleo baroque architecture, city of the olive oil, salsiccia, museums, and a number of exquisite restaurants. Chiaramonte Gulfi is rightfully called the ‘Balcony of Sicily’, thanks to its panoramic setting at 668 metres altitude with a beautiful view on the valley, the Mediterranean Sea and the Etna volcano.
