At 1100 meters above sea level, the village is located in a strategic position – in less than 10 minutes you can reach the Montepratello ski facilities (Roccaraso), and in just 10 minutes also the town centers of Rivisondoli, Roccaraso, and Pescocostanzo. Additionally, Castel di Sangro and Sulmona (the city of sugared almonds) can be reached in just 20 minutes. There are two very comfortable double bedrooms, plus a double sofa bed in the living room. —The first bedroom is partially carved into the rock, features a ceiling with small terracotta vaults, is well lit by a window, and has a large, comfortable double bed with storage drawers for clothes and other items. —The second bedroom also has a double bed and a large French door. Two spacious built-in wardrobes provide plenty of room to store jackets and clothing for the duration of your stay. —The bathroom is equipped with a tub/shower combo with a rain showerhead and handheld shower, a hairdryer, radiator, mirror, various shelves, and a window. —The living area is a large open space with three central stone and terracotta columns – cozy and striking thanks to the typical old-style architecture. —The masonry kitchen is spacious and functional, with wooden shelves and countertops, a hand-carved stone sink, and is fully equipped: stove, oven, built-in fridge, extractor hood, a full set of pots, pans, plates, cutlery – and finally a chestnut wood table with an extendable top seating up to 8 people. —In the living room you’ll find a beautiful wood-burning fireplace that creates a unique atmosphere – perfect during a typical winter snowfall, with hot chocolate and a good movie for moments of pure relaxation. The accommodation also includes a rear room where you’ll find firewood for the fireplace, and which can also be used to store your skis, bicycles, and other equipment.

In the village, you'll also find a tourist office on the main street, a bar, two restaurants, a grocery store, a pharmacy, and a post office – all easily reachable on foot. Directly from the village, you'll discover wonderful trails for hiking, biking, and snowshoeing, where you'll encounter breathtaking landscapes and possibly deer, roe deer, squirrels, and much more.
