Located in the historic center of Sortino, Ficodindia Rooms is a family-run property. It offers free WiFi in all rooms and each bathroom comes with a hairdryer and shower or bathtub. Each room is decorated on a theme, Sicily: land of tradition and legends. In the Ferula room there is a minibar exclusively for customers with paid products. In the apartment there is a seating area with a flat-screen cable TV and an exit to a terrace overlooking the Baroque Mother Church. A fridge, a toaster, a kitchenette and a coffee machine are available in the shared breakfast room. In the morning you will enjoy a handmade Mediterranean breakfast, homemade and with 100% organic and local products. There are also packaged products. The breakfast room is available to guests at any time and breakfast is self-service. Mountain bike and electric bike rental for a fee. Rates include bed and breakfast. On request with supplement change of bed linen and/or change of towels. Bed linen and towels are always replaced when guests change. The bed & breakfast is equipped with an external safe at the entrance of the main door for a possible self check-in to be able to retrieve the room keys in complete tranquility, using a code that we will provide you at the time of the request.
Hospitality and a family context are an excellent formula for traveling on a budget and for getting to know the habits and customs of the countries in which you are staying more closely.
The property is located in the historic center of the town. Close to all attractions, churches, museums, and palaces. Also on foot you can reach several pizzerias, pizzerias, bars, ice cream parlors and pubs. Sortino, perched on the Iblei Mountains in the province of Syracuse, is not only the land of honey. Here there are many activities that dedicate time and perseverance to the processing of pizzolo, a local specialty similar to pizza, which has become the standard-bearer of all local products. The PANTALICA reserve falls within the territories of Sortino, Ferla, Cassaro, Buscemi and Palazzolo Acreide, but the official entrance is located near Ferla and Cassaro. The entrance to the reserve is near the crossroads for the two cities. To visit the Necropolis of Pantalica, one must instead reach Sortino.
