YOUR GREEN NEST IN THE HEART OF FLORENCE It’s a little, “bohemian” apartment on the hills, near the city center, only twenty minutes walking from the Duomo. A great crooked pine and a large magnolia tree mark the entrance to your “green nest” in Florence: a cosy, romantic bedroom and a colorful living room with a fully equipped kitchen opening onto the terrace where you’ll love to enjoy a nice glass of wine in the fragrant evening You’ll remember it with delight. OVERLOOKING FLORENCE: A ROMANTIC RETREAT UNDER THE EAVES. An ancient spiral staircase leads to the private entrance: old forniture, beam ceiling and shelves of books create a unique, warm atmosphere. The apartment has a romantic double bedroom, a cosy single room and a large, luminous living room opening onto a flowery roof terrace with a breathtaking view of Florence.An unforgettable setting for your Florentine Holiday.
The apartment is located within Elena and Andrea’s home: they live there with their daughter Margherita, just one gate downhill your private entrance at 34B and they will meet you upon your arrival. A sweet, little gift for you! Milk and cookies, coffee and tea: a full “Welcome Basket” for your breakfast! The scent of a family history fills this charming apartment, in the attic of a large yellow house near the city center, only 20 minutes walking from the Duomo. Florentine from a Florentine family, always back and forth from the USA where my brother lives, I'm a copy writer with a predilection for fairy tales. I love traveling around the world: loved the colors of Marrakesh, loved the whales out of San Lorenzo River; loved the hippos in South Africa; but more than anything I love the flowers of my Florentine garden.
The Uffizi, the Duomo, the wonderful joy of the city center are only twenty minutes away on foot through the picturesque maze of Porta Romana and San Frediano streets.
