Il Torrione is located in the town of Poggio Bustone. It is a typical ancient and medieval house, which is located in the old town. The house has been renovated recently, you will find all the features of an ancient house: a fireplace (that can be used at a small surcharge, with wood included), a calm place and a fantastic panorama.
I am Giovanni Leonardi, I am a 29 year old Management Engineer. I work in the field of production planning for a pharmaceutical company. I would like to offer a special experience in my house, I would like people to feel as they were at their home. My apartment is perfect for people who want to do this experience in a medieval place.
Poggio Bustone is a special place. You can do different kind of things both inside and outside the village. The village is the birthplace of one of the most important Italian singers, Lucio Battisti. You can go to the "Giardini di Marzo" park and visit the statue dedicated to it. In addition, Poggio Bustone was also one of the four places visited by Saint Francis: especially in the highest point of the village, you can visit the Convent of Saint Francis, a magical place surrounded by nature. Then Poggio Bustone is also known for the possibility of flying with paragliders and hang gliders: in the village for several years there were competitions with people from all over the world. The runway is located in the mountains while the airstrip is on the plane, at the end of the village. Other things to do in the village? You can just enjoy a very calm atmosphere, relax especially if you live normally in big cities; you can walk in the mountains: the one I recommend you the most is the "walk of Saint Francis".
