The Count's Alcove is to be found in the old historical part of Dragoni offering a spectacular panoramic view of Monte Matese The house contains two spacious bedrooms: one containing a panoramic double bed overlooking the hills and mountains , the other three single beds, a library , a fitted functional kitchen, a panoramic sitting room overlooking the hills and mountains, a clock room with shower and a panoramic bathroom overlooking the hills and mountains. The Count's Alcove is situated in the part of town known as Chiaio, in Dragoni,in the province of Caserta, at the feet of Mount Castello. There is a very old legend about a mischievious Count which has influenced the choice of the name of our bnb. The Count's Alcove has been completly restyled but it still keeps its traditional feel to it in some areas of the house.
Giuliana and Antonello are our hosts, we enjoy meeting people all over the world, Giuliana speaksEnglish as a first languages, she likes zumba lessons and loves all 80s music. Antonello has lived in UK, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and Brazil, he has travelled the world, his passion is cooking and making contemporary furniture.
Our region is particularly rich of natural beauty, in our vicinities you find Piedimonte Matese a charming town, Telese Terme which is famous for its SPA, the Reggia di Caserta is really close , Naples is not far, but if you want peace and quiet in an elegant home the Count's Alcove is the place to be.
