Originally a Benedictine monastery dating back to the 1400s, it is now a home that preserves enchanting ancient stone walls on the outside, and is equipped with every modern comfort inside. The house is located behind Ala's main square, just steps from shops selling local products, restaurants, cafes, a tobacconist, a supermarket, and an information point. Its location allows guests to enjoy tranquility while still being close to all amenities. The kitchen is equipped with an induction stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and electric kettle, as well as utensils and dishes. The bathroom is equipped with all necessary fixtures and fittings, including an 80x100 shower, a washing machine, and a hairdryer. A sofa overlooking the mountains is the perfect reward for a day spent on the trails and through the woods for which the Ala Valley is famous. Linens (sheets, pillowcases, duvet, blankets, tablecloth, and dishcloths) and bathroom towels (hand and bath towels) are provided. Free WiFi is available. Heating is provided by radiators with a state-of-the-art pellet boiler, allowing you to adjust the temperature from inside the apartment, making the house suitable for all seasons. The boiler also provides hot water. The property is ideally located as a starting point for hiking, mountain biking, climbing, fishing, and, in the winter, snowshoeing and ski touring. Public parking is available in the town square or in the side streets (always available free of charge). The apartment is located at the end of a small hill, so we recommend parking in the main square. It is not suitable for guests with mobility disabilities. The property is non-smoking.
