Vernole is a small village strategically located 3 km from the most exclusive beaches of Salento and 12 km from the splendid City of Lecce. The territory of Vernole boasts, a fortified town, set of many Italian and foreign films (Acaja), a protected nature reserve (le Cesine) managed by the WWF, and a coastline with beaches alternating with cliffs and dense pine forests
