We are a British/American couple who have fallen in love with Italy and live between Venice, The Dolomites & Puglia with our two boys. All of our places are where we stay and are made with love not generic rentals made for tourists...

Property information

Il Grillo is a large modern house with a mini house behind it (Il Cubetto). Inspired by Puglia's traditional architecture they have been thoughtfully designed and it has a huge mediterranean garden. Well away from main roads, it is the perfect place to escape from the world for larger groups. Well positioned to explore Salento's wonderful beaches, it is hidden in an enchanting olive grove.

Neighbourhood information

Situated in the heart of the Salento and close to some of Puglia's most beautiful beaches (the nearest is 7km). The property is just outside Spongano (2.5km) a charming place with bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. About 1.5km in the other direction is a large shopping centre. There are wonderful places to buy fresh fish (we sometimes buy directly from the fisherman after days at the beaches in Galipolli) and great restaurants in the area- all recommended in the guest pack in the house.
